This is Saki, and her name means "Blossom of Hope" in Japanese. Hence the title.

Since the text is hard to see I will be writing about her here.



Saki is a cheerful, fifteen year old girl. She is always loving and caring to others. She also has a very friendly personality and is very comfortable with talking with others, even strangers. Saki has a few close friends and they love her much like a sister. She does all that she can to be a good friend who's always there for them and is honest with them all. She's always so cheerful in front of them that they don't realize all the pain she's gone through in her young life.

Saki was abandoned as a baby by her young teenage mother. Her mother hated her for ever being born and had even contemplated aborting her during the early stages of pregnancy. But her family encouraged her to have the child because she was considered to be a blessing.

Saki doesn't know her mother nor the reason why she was abandoned. Her father was slightly older than her mother and he was excited for the birth of the child but he was killed in an accident a few months before Saki was born.

Saki spent most of her life feeling lonely. She lived in an orphanage until she was eleven years of age, when a young couple decided to take her up for adoption. At first Saki was happy because she thought that she would finally feel like she has a family in a normal household. Yet, she had no idea what the couple had in store for her. She was badly abused by them, both physically and mentally. At age fourteen, Saki couldn't take it anymore and decided to run away from her adoptive guardians.

She spent a couple of weeks surviving out in the streets until a sweet old lady walked past her one morning and took her in and cared for her as her own grandchild.

One beautiful day, she was taking a brisk walk as she sang cheerfully. She stops and closes her eyes to enjoy the nice breeze. Then something inside her told her to open her eyes and look to the left. She did and was surprised to see a young boy with beautiful chocolate brown hair and caramel eyes sititng all by himself in a wheelchair. Remembering how she felt as a lonely, abandoned child, she decided to approach him...

She is very helpful and active around her neighborhood. She is always doing her best to be a good friend to those who may be lonely or feel betrayed or who have gone through some of the same experiences that she has.
