This is a phoenix OC I originally created about 2 years ago. He was going to be the brother of another phoenix OC with a deviant but said deviant doesn't have a DA anymore ;////; Buuut I didn't just want to throw away his design, I realy love him And I got super excited when Katrinu allowed me to pair this little darling up with one of her lovely OCs. I thought it would be perfect since her OC is also a phoenix (and a really gorgeous one at that!!) Such an honor andskjdska ;/////;

And so I was motivated to make a proper ref for him, and redesigned him a little  

His name is Shadrach, and he is a confident, friendly and strong young man. But if he is angered, he can get pretty violent especially if anyone tries to harm his beloved. He is really over protective over her because when he was a young boy, he witnessed someone dear to him just die before his eyes, without him able to do anything to save them. He is also a sweet, gentle and a passionate gentleman. 

His age is unknown but he is several hundred years old.

Little extra info: 

-Has flame like markings all over his body. They glow and change colors to reflect the feelings in his heart. (Ex: if he is sad, they turn into blue-ish cool colors. His hair and feathers has this ability as well. And when he is passionate, they glow intensely like a flame. )
-Has feathers lining the bottom parts of his ears
-Wears a flame pendant on his necklace. (This is a very important necklace he had recieved from his mother)
-His eyes change into the color of red/orange/yellow flames when he is furious
-When he is being passionate/ loving, his eyes have a blue flame color scheme
-He can both turn completely into a phoenix and also just have his phoenix wings while in his human form. (He can use his flaming wings to warm up his love too~ )



When he first met Thalia, he would become a nervous wreck around her because he had never been around such a gorgeous phoenix as her He was attracted to her from the start but was afraid to say anything to her even though they became closer as they traveled together. Eventually he confesses and realizes that she too had felt the same way about him
